...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SUSSEX COUNTY...

At 221 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Vienna to near Salisbury to near
Snow Hill. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm...and may cause
ponding on roadways and poor drainage areas. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. If you see
lightning or hear thunder seek a safe shelter inside a building or
vehicle.

Locations impacted include...
Georgetown, Seaford, Millsboro, Laurel, Selbyville, Bridgeville,
Delmar, Dagsboro, Gumboro, Sycamore, Long Neck, Blades, Greenwood,
Frankford and Bethel.
