...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTH CENTRAL NEW CASTLE AND
NORTH CENTRAL KENT COUNTIES...

At 257 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Smyrna, or 10
miles northwest of Dover, moving southeast at 10 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Smyrna, Clayton, Cheswold, Green Spring, Dover Speedway and
Leipsic.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
northern Delaware. A severe thunderstorm watch also remains in effect
