...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN CARBON COUNTY...

At 314 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near McAdoo, or
near Tamaqua, moving southeast at 15 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, New Mahoning, Lansford, Summit Hill, Beaver
Meadows and Tresckow.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
