...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM EDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...SOUTH CENTRAL BUCKS AND PHILADELPHIA
COUNTIES...

At 1009 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain fell across the
warned area earlier this evening, resulting in up to two inches of
rain. Flash flooding is already occurring.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Bensalem, Yeadon, Jenkintown, Narberth, Rockledge,
Abington, Bryn Athyn, Wissinoming, Feasterville-Trevose, Morris Park,
Germantown, Northeast Philadelphia, Center City, Feasterville,
Tacony, Andalusia, Holmesburg, Kensington and Roxborough.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
