GLOUCESTER...SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN CHESTER...
PHILADELPHIA AND DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 638 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to locally heavy
rain continuing in the advisory area. Automated gauges report one to
two inches of rain has fallen in a corridor from Kent County in
Maryland to Salem County in New Jersey. Rain rates up to a half inch
per hour are occurring in this same general area extending
northeastward to the Camden area. Rain will continue for the next
couple of hours. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Camden, Wilmington, Newark, Middletown, West Chester,
Elkton, Gloucester City, Centerville, Calvert, Norristown, Deptford,
West Deptford, Glassboro, Lindenwold, Lansdale, West Norriton, East
Norriton, Pennsville and Bellmawr.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
