A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southern and central New Jersey.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN OCEAN...NORTHEASTERN BURLINGTON AND SOUTHWESTERN
MONMOUTH COUNTIES...

At 248 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Clarksburg to near Woodruff, moving east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Lakewood, Jackson, Howell, Marlboro, Manalapan,
Lakehurst, Farmingdale, Roosevelt, Wrightstown, Leisure Village, East
Freehold, Six Flags Theme Park, Pleasant Plains, Cedar Glen West,
Jacksons Mills, Leisure Village East, West Freehold, Cassville and
Adelphia.

This includes the following highways...
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 83 and 90.
 Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 9 and 31.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
