...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN BERKS AND NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES...

At 555 PM EDT, emergency management reported flash flooding across
portions of the warned area. Flash flooding is occurring now.
Numerous homes are flooded in the Bally area. Numerous water rescues
have been reported. Numerous roads and highways are flooded and
closed including Route 100 and Route 422.

THIS IS A FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR SOUTHEASTERN BERKS AND
NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES. THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS
SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Birdsboro, Bally, Bechtelsville, Gilbertsville, Boyertown, Pennsburg,
Red Hill, Amity Gardens and Halfway House.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.
