...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHERN TALBOT...QUEEN
ANNE'S...KENT AND SOUTHEASTERN CECIL COUNTIES...

At 455 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Middle River to near Chesapeake Beach.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Easton, Elkton, Centerville, Talbot, Chestertown, Centreville,
Romancoke, Rock Hall, Charlestown, St. Michaels, Church Hill,
Cecilton, Queen Anne, Old Town, Grasonville, Starr, Copperville,
Morgnec, Crumpton and Skipton.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
