...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of New Jersey and southeast Pennsylvania, including
  the following areas, in New Jersey, Hunterdon, Mercer, Morris,
  and Somerset. In southeast Pennsylvania, Lower Bucks and Upper
  Bucks.

* Through Saturday morning.

* Periods of heavy rain will continue overnight into early
  Saturday morning. Amounts of up to two inches are possible. This
  could lead to small stream as well as main-stem flooding. Poor
  drainage and low-lying flooding is likely.

* The risk of low-lying and small stream flooding will increase
  overnight into Saturday. The risk of main-stem flooding will
  increase late Saturday into Saturday night. Please refer to the
  Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS) website for both
  Passaic and Raritan Basin crest forecasts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of central New Jersey, northern New Jersey, and
  southern New Jersey, including the following areas, in central
  New Jersey, Eastern Monmouth and Western Monmouth. In northern
  New Jersey, Middlesex. In southern New Jersey, Coastal Ocean,
  Northwestern Burlington, Ocean, and Southeastern Burlington.

* Until 6 AM EST Saturday.

* Periods of heavy rain will continue overnight into early
  Saturday morning. Amounts up to two inches are possible.

* The risk of small stream flooding will increase overnight and
  persist into Saturday morning. With the rainfall amounts
  expected, poor drainage and low-lying flooding is likely.
