...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN NEW CASTLE...NORTHERN KENT AND SOUTHEASTERN CECIL
COUNTIES...

At 945 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Glasgow to Bohemias Mills to near Sassafras, moving
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Middletown, Elkton, New Castle, Delaware City, Cecilton, Millington,
Betterton, Warwick, Glasgow, Bear, Bohemias Mills, Newtown, Port
Penn, Brantwood, Wilmington Manor, Delaney Corner, Saint Georges,
Sassafras, Mount Pleasant and Cayots.

This includes Interstate 95 in Delaware between mile markers 3 and 5.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
