The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Talbot County in eastern Maryland...
  Southern Caroline County in eastern Maryland...

* Until 400 PM EDT.

* At 317 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Windyhill, or
  near Hurlock, moving northwest at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to
           roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

* Locations impacted include...
  Easton, Denton, Federalsburg, Trappe, St. Michaels, Preston,
  Oxford, Tanyard, Harmony, Smithville, Copperville, Agner, Matthews,
  Choptank, Hambleton, Windyhill and Cordova.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near the Choptank River, get away from the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now!  Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
