...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT CENTRAL BERKS COUNTY...

At 133 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Newmanstown, or
7 miles east of Myerstown, moving northeast at 15 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Sinking Spring, Laureldale, Womelsdorf,
Wernersville, Newmanstown, Leesport, Bernville, Fairview Hgts, Spring
Ridge, West Reading, Mount Penn, Centerport, Wyomissing Hills, West
Lawn, Whitfield and West Wyomissing.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
