...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN OCEAN...
SOUTHEASTERN MERCER...EAST CENTRAL BURLINGTON...MONMOUTH AND
MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 1229 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Browns Mills,
or 18 miles west of Toms River, moving northeast at 65 mph.

Winds up to 35 mph are possible with this storm. This storm has had
a history of producing small hail, to about pea size.

Locations impacted include...
New Brunswick, Somerset, Edison, Middletown, Old Bridge, Jackson,
Howell, East Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick, Marlboro,
Manalapan, Holmdel, Keansburg, Matawan, Jamesburg, Hightstown,
Cranbury, Lakehurst and Allentown.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
