...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN SUSSEX AND
SOUTHEASTERN KENT COUNTIES...

At 1005 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Laurel, or 13
miles southwest of Georgetown, moving northeast at 55 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Georgetown, Milford, Seaford, Laurel, Milton, Bridgeville,
Ellendale, Bowers, Sycamore, Big Stone Beach, Blades, Greenwood,
Frederica, Houston, Magnolia, Bethel and Riverview.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
