...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN NEW CASTLE...
NORTHWESTERN GLOUCESTER...SOUTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY...EASTERN
CHESTER...WEST CENTRAL PHILADELPHIA AND DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 803 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Paoli, or 8
miles northeast of West Chester, moving east at 30 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Philadelphia, West Chester, Norristown, Chester, Phoenixville, West
Norriton, East Norriton, Westtown, Conshohocken, Ambler, Swarthmore,
Kennett Square, Collegeville, Royersford, Narberth, Trappe, Arden,
Cheyney, Elam and Bryn Mawr.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

office in Mount Holly NJ.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
northern Delaware...southern New Jersey...and southeastern
