...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT TALBOT...QUEEN
ANNE'S...CENTRAL CAROLINE AND SOUTHWESTERN KENT COUNTIES...

At 801 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was over Chester, or
9 miles east of Severn River, moving southeast at 40 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Easton, Centerville, Talbot, Centreville, Greensboro, Oakland,
Ridgely, Rock Hall, Trappe, St. Michaels, Oxford, Queen Anne, Old
Town, Grasonville, Starr, Copperville, Jumptown, Tilghman Island,
Stevensville and Skipton.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
