...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN MERCER...
SOUTHEASTERN SOMERSET AND CENTRAL MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 1216 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Kingston, or
12 miles northeast of Trenton, moving northeast at 30 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
New Brunswick, Somerset, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, South Brunswick,
North Brunswick, Middlesex, Princeton, Jamesburg, Cranbury, Hopewell,
Rocky Hill, Millstone, Skillman, Princeton Meadows, Kingston, Dayton,
Plainsboro Center, North Brunswick Township and Clearbrook Park.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
