CECIL...MONTGOMERY...CHESTER...PHILADELPHIA AND DELAWARE COUNTIES...
At 207 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Woodlawn to Beltsville. Movement was
northeast at 30 mph.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways. Rainfall amounts up to an inch or more may fall in a
relatively short period of time. Winds up to 40 mph are possible
with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Philadelphia, Camden, Wilmington, Newark, West Chester, Elkton,
Calvert, Norristown, Chester, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Lansdale, West
Norriton, East Norriton, Coatesville, Yeadon, Westtown, Downingtown,
Conshohocken and Palmyra.
