* Flood Advisory for...
  Morris County in northern New Jersey...
  Northeastern Hunterdon County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Sussex County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Northern Warren County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Northern Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northeastern Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 530 AM EDT.

* At 127 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain that
  will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Rainfall rates of
  up to one inch of rain per hour are falling in some areas in
  addition to heavy rainfall from earlier.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, Mount Pocono, Dover, Hopatcong,
  Kinnelon, East Stroudsburg, Hackettstown, Tobyhanna, Boonton,
  Butler, Wharton, Rockaway, Blairstown, Mount Arlington, Franklin,
  Mendham, Mountain Lakes and High Bridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
