...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM EDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN MONMOUTH COUNTY...

At 435 AM EDT, minor flooding continues along the Manasquan River in
southeastern Monmouth County. The flooding was cause by excessive
runoff from yesterday morning's heavy rain. After cresting to 16.6
feet yesterday evening, the river gauge along the Manasquan River at
Allenwood has fallen to 15.1 feet as of 415 AM. It should fall below
flood stage of 14.5 feet by mid morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Expect high water across some walking trails, riding trails and
parking lots in Allaire State Park.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
