...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM EDT FOR MERCER...
SOUTHWESTERN SOMERSET AND SOUTHERN MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 156 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated observations indicated
that 2 to 6 inches of rain have fallen today. Creeks, streams, and
rivers like the Stony Brook in Mercer County, the Assunpink Creek in
Mercer County, and the Millstone River in Somerset County continue
to do runoff. Road closures are likely in Mercerville along the
Assunpink. Causeways over the Millstone are closed. In addition,
trails can flood in the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park when
the Assunpink runs high.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
