...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 AM EDT FOR SOUTHERN
SUSSEX COUNTY...
At 155 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms moving across parts of southern Sussex County. This
will cause additional minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to an
inch or two of rain has already fallen. Some spots may receive an
additional half inch to inch of rain. Most of the heavy rain should
move off the coast by 3:30 AM.
Some locations that could experience flooding include... Millsboro,
Laurel, Selbyville, Delmar, Dagsboro, Millville, Gumboro, Sycamore,
Long Neck, Ocean View, Frankford, South Bethany and Bethel.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
