At 1040 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms located along a
line extending from near Kennett Square, Pennsylvania to near
Chesapeake City in Maryland. Movement was east at 35 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Newark, Bridgeton, Middletown, Elkton, Chester, Deptford,
West Deptford, Glassboro, Pennsville, Woodbury, Pitman, Clayton,
Carneys Point, Elsmere, Paulsboro, Kennett Square, New Castle, Penns
Grove and Salem.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
