...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTH CENTRAL NEW
CASTLE AND CENTRAL CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 649 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was over Willow
Street, moving east at 40 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
West Chester, Coatesville, Downingtown, Kennett Square, Parkesburg,
West Grove, Honey Brook, Elverson, Homeville, Cochranville, Pughtown,
Marshallton, Lionville-Marchwood, Ashland, Glenmoore, Lionville,
Hockessin, Greenville, Atglen and South Coatesville.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for northern
Delaware...and eastern and southeastern Pennsylvania.
