The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has extended the

* Flood Advisory for...
  Sussex County in southern Delaware...
  New Castle County in northern Delaware...
  Kent County in central Delaware...
  Talbot County in eastern Maryland...
  Queen Anne's County in northeastern Maryland...
  Caroline County in eastern Maryland...
  Kent County in northeastern Maryland...
  Cecil County in northeastern Maryland...
  Cumberland County in southern New Jersey...
  Salem County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 1215 PM EDT.

* At 752 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated additional rain moving
  toward the Delmarva. While this rain is not as heavy as the rain
  which fell during the overnight hours, the very wet conditions
  that now exist require less rain to cause flooding problems. The
  Flood Advisory has therefore been extended until 1215 PM.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Vineland, Dover, Newark, Millville, Bridgeton, Middletown, Easton,
  Elkton, Havre De Grace, Georgetown, Centerville, Talbot,
  Pennsville, Smyrna, Milford, Seaford, Chestertown, Salem, Denton
  and Centreville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
