...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 AM EDT FOR
ATLANTIC...EASTERN CUMBERLAND...SOUTHEASTERN GLOUCESTER AND CAPE MAY
COUNTIES...

At 634 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of heavy rain moving
across southern Cape May County. Once this rain moves off the coast,
another area of rain will move in from the west from the Delmarva.
This rain will cause minor flooding...expecially roadway and poor
draining flooding.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Vineland, Atlantic City, Millville, Ocean City, Cape May, Cumberland,
Pleasantville, Somers Point, Ventnor City, Brigantine, Northfield,
Absecon, Margate City, Buena, Egg Harbor City, North Wildwood, Laurel
Lake, Wildwood Crest, Weymouth and Woodbine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
