...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 AM EDT FOR
ATLANTIC...EASTERN CUMBERLAND...SOUTHEASTERN GLOUCESTER AND CAPE MAY
COUNTIES...

At 551 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain over the advisory
area has resulted in an inch or so of rainfall. Although the
heaviest of the rain has moved out of the area, moderate rain
continues, and up to an additional inch of rain is possible. This
will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Vineland, Atlantic City, Millville, Ocean City, Cape May, Cumberland,
Pleasantville, Somers Point, Ventnor City, Brigantine, Northfield,
Absecon, Margate City, Buena, Egg Harbor City, North Wildwood, Laurel
Lake, Wildwood Crest, Weymouth and Woodbine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
