SUSSEX...NEW CASTLE...KENT...TALBOT...QUEEN ANNE'S...CAROLINE...
KENT...CECIL...CUMBERLAND AND SALEM COUNTIES...

At 547 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has resulted in
around 1 inch of rain across the advised area. The heaviest of the
rain has moved out of the area, but more rain will move into
Maryland and Delaware over the next hour or so. This will result in
an additional inch or so of rainfall.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Vineland, Dover, Newark, Millville, Bridgeton, Middletown, Easton,
Elkton, Havre De Grace, Georgetown, Centerville, Talbot, Pennsville,
Smyrna, Milford, Seaford, Chestertown, Salem, Denton and Centreville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
