* Flood Advisory for...
Sussex County in southern Delaware...
Southwestern Kent County in central Delaware...
Eastern Talbot County in eastern Maryland...
Southern Caroline County in eastern Maryland...
* Until 200 AM EDT.
* At 902 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen since this afternoon, which will cause minor
flooding in the advisory area.
* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Easton, Georgetown, Seaford, Denton, Millsboro, Laurel,
Federalsburg, Milton, Bridgeville, Delmar, Trappe, Dagsboro,
Preston, Ellendale, Smithville, Gumboro, Agner, Choptank, Windyhill
and Andrewsville.
Additional rainfall of around one inch is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flash Flood Warning may be needed if these storms continue to
maintain its intensity and continue to slow.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
