...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM EDT FOR
TALBOT...SOUTH CENTRAL QUEEN ANNE'S AND SOUTHWESTERN CAROLINE
COUNTIES...

At 652 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain across
the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen with
additional rainfall expected. While the rain rates have dropped off,
this additional rainfall is expected to continue the threat for
flash flooding.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Easton, Ridgely, Trappe, Preston, Queen Anne, Tanyard, Harmony,
Starr, Skipton, Jumptown, Matthews, Choptank, Wye Mills, Hambleton,
Griffin, Windyhill, Cordova, Queenstown and Hillsboro.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
