...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN MORRIS AND SUSSEX COUNTIES...

At 855 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the initial round of heavy
rain had moved out of the advisory area. However, additonal
showers are possible and earlier runoff will be slow to recede,
which will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to three
inches of rain have already fallen.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, Dover, Hopatcong, Kinnelon, Boonton,
Butler, Wharton, Rockaway, Morris Plains, Mount Arlington, Franklin,
Mountain Lakes, Riverdale, Hamburg, Ogdensburg, Sussex, Victory
Gardens and Branchville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
