...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 AM EDT FOR
WESTERN CHESTER COUNTY...

At 915 PM EDT, fire department officials reported flash flooding and
a water rescue occurring in Caln Township. Mesonet sites indicate
between 3 and 4 inches of rain has fallen. While the heaviest rain
is now moving north of much of the warned area, excessive runoff
will continue and some additional showers are developing from the
south.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Coatesville, Oxford, Parkesburg, West Grove, Honey Brook, Homeville,
Cochranville, Glenmoore, Ladenberg, Kemblesville, North Star, Atglen,
South Coatesville, Avondale, Christiana, Modena, Thorndale and
Toughkenamon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
