...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT CENTRAL KENT AND NORTHEASTERN
CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 507 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Sandtown, or 10
miles southwest of Dover, moving east at 30 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Milford, Harrington, Camden, Bowers, Woodside, Viola, Hartly,
Rising Sun-Lebanon, Hazlettville, Dover Base Housing, Dover Speedway,
Sandtown, Rising Sun, Big Stone Beach, Wyoming, Felton, Frederica,
Houston and Magnolia.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
