...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CENTRAL OCEAN...
SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON AND SOUTHEASTERN MONMOUTH COUNTIES...

At 1259 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Ramtown to near Beachwood to Bass River
State Forest. Movement was east at 25 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Lakewood, Howell, Barnegat, Beachwood, Manasquan, Point
Pleasant Beach, Tuckerton, Seaside Heights, Surf City, Mantoloking,
Leisure Village, Allenwood, Wading River, Dover Beaches North,
Leisure Village East, Dover Beaches South, Ramtown, Brick Township
and Brookville.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
