...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN WARREN...NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH...CARBON...MONROE AND
CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 636 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
rainfall totals of one to two inches in much of the advisory area.
Though the heaviest rainfall has ended, runoff will continue to
cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Lehighton, Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Palmerton, Jim
Thorpe, Slatington, Pen Argyl, Nesquehoning, Wind Gap, Bath,
Weatherly, Walnutport, Stormville, Pocono Pines, Lake Harmony,
Tannersville, Long Pond, Kresgeville and Sun Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
