* Until 315 AM EST.

* At 946 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain moving from west
  to east across the area. Precipitation rates around one inch per
  hour have been reported in the heavier rain bands. Given the wet
  antecedent conditions from recent heavy rain in the area, runoff
  production is very efficient, resulting in rises on small streams
  and ponding of water in areas of poor drainage. An areal flood
  advisory has therefore been issued.

  Philadelphia, Trenton, Camden, Wilmington, New Brunswick, Perth
  Amboy, Newark, West Chester, Somerville, Gloucester City, Somerset,
  Edison, Cherry Hill, Old Bridge, Bensalem, East Brunswick,
  Bridgewater, South Brunswick, Sayreville and North Brunswick.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
