The water may be deeper than you think.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Rockaway River at Boonton Below Resvr.
* From this afternoon to Sunday morning...or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At 10:00 AM Friday the stage was 3.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and continue
  to rise to near 5.8 feet by tomorrow morning. The river will fall below
  flood stage by early Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 6.0 feet...Flooding occurs on Vail Road in Montville.
  The Road heading into Parsippany is subject to closures.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 5.7 feet on
  Dec 25 2003.
