The water may be deeper than you think.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Pequannock River at Macopin Dam.
* From this evening to Sunday morning...or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At 10:45 AM Friday the stage was 5.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 5.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise
  to near 5.9 feet by tomorrow morning. The river will fall below
  flood stage by Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 5.5 feet...Road closures begin in both Butler and
  Bloomingdale due to flooding.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 5.9
  feet on Mar 7 2011.
