SAFETY MESSAGE...Do not attempt to drive through flooded areas. The water may be
deeper than you think.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Rockaway River at Boonton Below Reservoir.
* from this evening to late Saturday night...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 5:00 AM Friday the stage was 3.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to rise to near
  5.6 feet by tomorrow morning. The river is expected to fall below flood stage by late tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 6.0 feet...Flooding occurs on Vail Road in Montville. The Road
  heading into Parsippany is subject to closures.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 5.7 feet on Dec 25
  2003.
