the following rivers in New Jersey...

  North Branch Raritan River At Raritan affecting Somerset County
  Raritan River At Manville affecting Middlesex and Somerset Counties
  Raritan River At Bound Brook affecting Middlesex and Somerset Counties

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...Do not attempt to drive through flooded areas. The water may be
deeper than you think.

* Flood Warning for
  The North Branch Raritan River at Raritan.
* from this afternoon to late tonight...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 5:15 AM Friday the stage was 5.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and continue to rise
  to near 10.3 feet by this evening. The river is expected to fall below flood stage later tonight.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Flooding occurs along Old York Road and in North
  Branch Village.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.3 feet on Apr 3
  2005.

* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to rise to near
  14.1 feet by this evening. The river is expected to fall below flood stage later tonight.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Dukes Parkway begins to flood in Hillsborough.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.3 feet on Jan 28
  1996.

* At  5:15 AM Friday the stage was 20.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise to near 28.3
  feet by after midnight tonight. The river will fall below flood stage by tomorrow morning.
* Impact...At 28.0 feet...Backyard and low areas are protected by levees and the
  flood wall. Without the levees or if there is a breach in the levees, minor
  flooding will occur.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 28.4 feet on Mar 22
  1999.
