* Flood Warning for...
  Sussex County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Warren County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania...
  Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania...
  Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 830 AM EST.

* At 427 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  that moderate heavy rain was falling over the area. Up to one inch
  of rain has already fallen in the last few hours, in addition to
  the heavy rain from yesterday. More rainfall will occur through
  this morning. This heavy rain is causing local creeks and streams
  to rise, and several may rise above their flood stage with the
  additional rainfall. Be alert for areas of roadway flooding as
  well.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Allentown, Reading, Easton, Port Jervis, Newton, Lehighton,
  Montague, Mount Pocono, Bethlehem, Forks, Emmaus, Wyomissing,
  Northampton, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Wilson, Blairstown,
  Nazareth, Palmerton and Bangor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
