...The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a flood warning for
the following rivers in Delaware...

  Christina River At Coochs Bridge affecting New Castle County

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...Do not attempt to drive through flooded areas. The water may be
deeper than you think.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Christina River at Coochs Bridge.
* until this evening...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 4:01 AM Friday the stage was 9.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this morning and continue to rise to near
  12.4 feet by late this morning.the river will fall below flood stage by late
  this afternoon.
* Impact...At 12.5 feet...Evacuations are possible in Duross Heights. Airport
  Road at the New Castle Airport floods is closed. Businesses are flooded.
  Flooding increases in Newark. Flooding also increases on Barksdale Road and
  can extend onto Casho Mill Road. Businesses on South College Avenue take on
  water.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.2 feet on Aug 13
  2004.
