...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN CECIL AND
SOUTHWESTERN CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 717 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Rock Springs,
or 11 miles north of Havre De Grace, moving northeast at 25 mph.

Winds up to 45 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Calvert, Oxford, Rising Sun, Glen Roy, Zion, Blake, Lombard,
Richardsmere, Woodlawn, West Nottingham, Octoraro, Mount Vernon,
Conowingo, Rock Springs, Fair Hill, Farmington and Port Deposit.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
