...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 AM EDT FOR LEHIGH AND
NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 519 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding across the
warned area. Several roads are flooded and a few are closed in
Northampton County, including portions of Bushkill Drive in Easton.
The Monocacy Creek gauge in Bethlehem is approaching minor flood
stage at this time with flooding on Conestoga Street expected to
occur in the next couple of hours. Street flooding has also been
reported in Allentown. Moderate to locally heavy rainfall will
continue for the next couple of hours. Thus, flooding is expected to
continue.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, Forks, Emmaus, Northampton, Wilson,
Hellertown, Nazareth, Bangor, Slatington, Pen Argyl, Wind Gap, Bath,
Walnutport, Belfast, West Easton, Tatamy, East Bangor and Steuben.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
