...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SUSSEX COUNTY...

At 1126 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered near Sycamore, or
near Georgetown, moving northeast at 15 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Georgetown, Seaford, Millsboro, Laurel, Lewes, Milton, Delmar,
Ellendale, Henlopen Acres, Cape Henlopen State Park, Sycamore, Long
Neck, Blades, Dewey Beach and Bethel.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring, and may cause localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring. Lightning can
strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside
a building or vehicle.
