...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM TO 1 PM
EDT FRIDAY...

* LOCATIONS...Southern Poconos.

* HAZARD TYPES...Freezing rain and sleet.

* ACCUMULATIONS...Ice accumulation up to a few hundredths of an
  inch. Little to no sleet accumulation.

* TIMING...A mix of freezing rain and sleet is expected to begin
  between 8 and 10 AM. Precipitation should change over to all
  rain around midday as temperatures slowly increase.

* IMPACTS...A light glaze of icing will create slippery
  conditions, especially on untreated roads, bridges, and
  overpasses.

* TEMPERATURES...Mid 20s, then rising above freezing through
  midday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of sleet and
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and use caution while driving.
