...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 PM EST
THURSDAY...
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Wind
Advisory...which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 1 PM EST
Thursday.
* WINDS...West 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* TIMING...West winds will pick up overnight and continue through
Thursday morning. The strongest winds are expected Thursday
morning.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor
objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be
secured.
