...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...
SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS AND NORTHERN PHILADELPHIA COUNTIES...

At 236 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Germantown, or
near Philadelphia, moving northeast at 35 mph.  This the first of
what later today will be many thunderstorms in and around
Philadelphia.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

This storm will be near...
  Jenkintown, Rockledge and Abington around 245 PM EDT.
  Bryn Athyn, Willow Grove and Northeast Philadelphia around 250 PM
  EDT.
  Philadelphia, Hatboro, Ivyland and Feasterville around 255 PM EDT.
  Newtown, Langhorne, Feasterville-Trevose, Richboro and Langhorn
  around 300 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Glenside, Village
Shires, Churchville, Hulmeville, Langhorne Manor, Newtown Grant,
Penndel, Warminster Heights, Wyndmoor and Wyncote.

Torrential rainfall and lightning strikes are also occurring with
this storm. The rain may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
