NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 125 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Hamburg to Lenhartsville to near
Shoemakersville. Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with these storms.

These storms will be near...
  Wanamakers and New Tripoli around 140 PM EDT.
  Jordan Valley, Schnecksville and Neffs around 145 PM EDT.
  Slatington, Walnutport, Emerald and New Mahoning around 150 PM
  EDT.
  Lehighton, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe, Berlinsville and Danielsville
  around 155 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Weissport,
Parryville, Weissport East and Bowmanstown.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
