The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has extended the

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Sussex County in southern Delaware...
  Talbot County in eastern Maryland...
  Southwestern Queen Anne's County in northeastern Maryland...
  Southern Caroline County in eastern Maryland...

* Until 1145 PM EDT

* At 707 PM EDT...Doppler radar indicated light to moderate rain
  across the advisory area. However...additional heavy rainfall is
  expected to move back across the area during the evening hours.
  Two to three inches of rain has already fallen in some areas with
  prior heavy rainfall with additonal heavy rain expected. Be alert
  for ponding on roadways...as well as low lying and poor drainage
  areas as heavy rainfall redevelops.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Easton, Georgetown, Talbot, Seaford, Millsboro, Laurel,
  Federalsburg, Bridgeville, Delmar, Trappe, St. Michaels, Dagsboro,
  Preston, Smithville, Grasonville, Gumboro, Copperville, Agner,
  Choptank and Windyhill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams...country roads...farmland...and other low lying
spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated...or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
